Start with the information your team needs to move and the decision it enables. A website requesting information, an event creating a staff task and a scheduled catalogue update are different jobs. We review existing software, permitted interfaces, account access and current manual work before choosing the connection. Sometimes a product’s available configuration is enough; another task needs a developed integration or a separate application feature.
The selected engagement can include discovery, data mapping, customer or staff interface work, supported API or event handling, implementation, review and operating documentation. We agree which system owns each field, how records are identified and which changes the connection may make. A one-way exchange and a two-way update have different conflict and maintenance responsibilities. The proposal names those decisions rather than describing everything as a generic sync.
Plan operation alongside the build. Staff need to distinguish a completed exchange from one awaiting attention, understand what information was applied and know where a correction belongs. Access maintenance, provider changes and continuing support require an owner. Any production connection is activated through the authorised account and release arrangement, with its result checked separately from a local demonstration.
