A remote studio for your digital project

Help people understand. Give them a useful way forward.

Softglimmer works with Liverpool businesses on websites and digital tools that explain the offer and support a useful next action. We combine content planning, design and development as the requirement calls for them, from a focused public site to ecommerce, an application or a connected workflow. Our studio is in Ranchi, and delivery is remote. The starting point is a practical account of your business and its users, followed by a proposal your team can inspect.

Compare our services
A clear public explanation connected to appropriate actions and maintainable content, with design, development and ongoing work defined on their own merits.
  1. 01

    Explain the offer

Organise the information a reader needs before taking action.

  2. 02

    Choose useful functions

Commission transactions or tools because the task needs them.

  3. 03

    Keep the result maintainable

Agree content controls and the responsibilities after handover.

An example journey, shaped around your requirements.

Give a proposed page a question it can answer.

A page is easier to commission when everyone can explain what a reader should learn from it and what evidence supports the answer. We help Liverpool businesses organise approved material around those questions before extending navigation or adding functionality. The aim is a useful public explanation, followed by an action the business is ready to support.

Use the worksheet below for one service you actually offer. Start with questions raised in genuine customer conversations or a review of your present material. Beside each question, identify the approved evidence, its business owner and a useful next action. Decide whether the answer deserves its own page, belongs with related information or should wait for a missing fact.

That exercise informs content planning, design and development; it does not prescribe a site size or replace a full project brief. We can then scope the appropriate public pages, editing controls, transactions or connected tools. Your team approves the offer and supporting claims, while our Ranchi studio develops the selected experience through remote reviews.

Use a reader-question and page-purpose worksheet.

Replace these sample questions with ones relevant to your approved service. Keep the reason for each keep, merge or defer decision. A worksheet row is a reader need, not an instruction to create another page for every variation of a phrase.

A working aid for reviewing a real service page with approved business material.
Reader’s questionEvidence and source ownerUseful next actionKeep, merge or defer
Is this service suitable for my situation?Use the approved audience, service scope and genuine limitations. Name the service owner who can confirm the explanation; do not infer suitability from a photograph or a general slogan.Let the reader inspect the relevant scope or ask a suitability question with enough context for your team to respond.Keep a dedicated page when it explains a materially different service or decision. Merge overlapping introductions when they answer the same question; defer an unsupported service claim.
What would I receive?List the actual proposed outputs and the business inputs they depend on. The owner of the offer confirms the deliverables and any important boundary; a draft design is not the source of that promise.Help the reader compare the described work and prepare a specific project conversation. Link to relevant detail where it adds an answer.Keep meaningful deliverable differences visible. Merge repeated general process text into its useful location, and defer a promise whose content or responsibility has not been settled.
What supports the explanation?Choose genuine work, approved descriptions or other material the business may publish. Identify who can authorise its use and verify the statement it supports. Leave out invented outcomes or credentials.Offer the relevant project or supporting information, then a route back to the service or enquiry. The evidence should answer the question rather than decorate the page.Keep accurate relevant support. Merge duplicated background if another page already explains it well. Defer an unapproved claim; the page can still describe the truthful scope without manufacturing proof.
How do I take the next step?Use approved contact instructions and the context the receiving team needs. Name the person responsible for that route and confirm what the first response can reasonably mean.Provide the suitable enquiry, purchase or other action included in the agreed scope. Explain what the reader should prepare where that helps the task.Keep a distinct preparation guide when it answers a real need. Merge duplicate contact explanations with the same destination, and defer a function the business is not ready to operate.

Agree the outputs before expanding the feature list.

The proposal explains the particular deliverables within these six areas.

01

A brief tied to the reader’s task

The intended audience, current arrangement and decisions the finished experience should support. Identify the business material available, the people approving it and the assumptions requiring investigation. This keeps scope discussions connected to a purpose.

02

A content and navigation plan

An arrangement for the agreed pages or records, their relationships and next actions. List what will be written, supplied, retained or moved. Review representative titles and descriptions so the structure can be assessed before every page is populated.

03

Design materials with realistic content

The chosen identity applications, layouts and interface patterns, with the formats required for their use. Review representative short and long material, mobile presentation and relevant task states. Design decisions should help the information and action remain understandable.

04

Developed functions and editing controls

The selected implementation, including its content templates, roles and agreed connections. Set an extent for initial content entry or migration. The resulting work can then be inspected against the actual pages and tasks commissioned, rather than a broad platform name.

05

A reviewed release arrangement

The checks, corrections and approvals relevant to publication. Follow important navigation, forms and other included journeys, with suitable phone and desktop reviews. Identify any unresolved external prerequisite and explain its effect on the planned release.

06

Materials for continued use

The agreed source files, editing guidance and account responsibilities. Demonstrate an ordinary content or operating task with the receiving team. Explain technical upkeep, subscriptions and the route for future requests so continuing work has a clear owner.

Review one service page using material you can approve.

Bring the current page, an approved description of the service and its actual outputs. Add a genuine project entry or other supporting material only where its use and claims are approved. Ask someone who was not involved in writing the page to explain who it is for, what the work contains, what supports the explanation and how to continue.

Record their answers in the worksheet. If they need a fact that is missing, name its source owner instead of inventing a sentence. If two sections answer the same question, decide where the answer is most useful and whether they should be combined. If a new page is proposed, write the different decision it would help the reader make.

Finish with the keep, merge or defer decisions and a short reason for each. Your content approver can then review the revised explanation, while we assess the design, editing and functional work needed to deliver it. This is a practical input to the wider project, not a promise that more pages will improve search rankings.

Carry the same purpose from planning to publication.

We deliver from Ranchi through scheduled remote reviews and clear written feedback.

  1. 01

    Understand and define

Review the audience, present material and actions the business wants to support. Identify the work requiring discovery, including access or external dependencies. Agree a proposal with useful outputs, client responsibilities and a realistic review arrangement.

  2. 02

    Organise and design

Develop the page structure or task flow and the selected creative direction. Review actual service information and representative records where appropriate. Resolve questions about meaning and responsibility before extending the design throughout the agreed scope.

  3. 03

    Develop and examine

Implement the approved pages, controls and functions. Prepare included content and retained material, then follow the relevant journeys with reviewers. Record findings against the agreed requirement so additional ideas can be considered without obscuring outstanding corrections.

  4. 04

    Publish and hand over

Confirm approvals and release responsibilities. Show the receiving team its ordinary task, supply agreed materials and explain who manages ongoing dependencies. Future improvements can then be requested with a clear description of their effect on the accepted work.

Questions about working together.

Can you help organise content as well as develop the site?

Yes. We agree the amount of content planning, writing, editing and initial entry included in the proposal. Your business supplies and approves factual statements and the use of genuine evidence. A content plan can identify gaps and their owners early, rather than leaving the development team to invent missing information near launch.

Can a small public website lead to a larger project later?

It can, provided the first engagement has a useful result of its own. We describe the pages, contact journey and editing arrangement included now. A later store, portal, application or connection has its own users and requirements to review. Planning for a possibility does not make its future implementation an unstated part of the initial commission.

Where will the Liverpool project be delivered from?

Softglimmer’s studio is in Ranchi, India, and we serve Liverpool remotely. Your team nominates reviewers and we agree the feedback and meeting arrangements. Invitations can use Europe/London and Asia/Kolkata for the actual date, with participants confirming their local time. The project plan sets any support arrangements; no Liverpool office or fixed availability is implied.
