Help the next decision maker understand the choice.
A business buying journey often moves between people. One colleague explores options, another checks suitability and someone else approves the brief. For a Mumbai team planning UI and UX design, the interface should support that handover as carefully as it supports the first click. Softglimmer maps the questions each person needs answered and prototypes a clear route from comparison to an informed enquiry. Our design work is delivered remotely from Ranchi, with review examples and acceptance decisions agreed with your product or service owner.
Service comparison and shared purchase briefs that several decision makers can understand.
01
Compare the relevant options
Use the same criteria so the choices can be understood together.
02
Prepare a useful brief
Ask for the information needed to review suitability, with clear field labels.
03
Pass on the context
The next reviewer should see the choice, assumptions and unanswered questions.
An example journey, shaped around your requirements.
A hypothetical working example
A colleague forwards a page, but the useful comparison is lost.
Imagine a service business whose prospective customer must compare three engagement options before seeking internal approval. This is a hypothetical design exercise, not a Mumbai client case study. The first visitor understands the differences, but the forwarded link opens an unselected page and the manager has to reconstruct the decision. A visually polished interface still needs a way to preserve the relevant context.
Use criteria the buyer can explain
Put the same meaningful criteria alongside each option: intended audience, required inputs, what is included and how the next step works. Avoid suggesting equivalence where the scopes differ. A comparison is successful when a colleague can repeat the important distinction without relying on the page's colour or the order of its cards.
Make the brief survive a handover
Choose how a person can review and share the selected option, assumptions and questions. A printable summary, a deliberate shareable link or a drafted enquiry may suit different products. We prototype the agreed method before adding account creation. Sensitive project details should not be exposed simply because a URL can be forwarded.

Before implementation
Design the decisions and the states together.
These decisions set a useful boundary for the first release.
01
Choose the comparison format
A genuine data comparison may use a table; a short set of different journeys may be clearer as separate cards. W3C's table guidance explains that accessible data tables need structural associations between headers and values. We decide what users need to compare and keep that relationship understandable when the layout changes on a phone.
02
Name the form fields clearly
A useful brief explains what each field asks and why an answer matters. W3C recommends labels associated with their controls; placeholder text alone should not carry the meaning. Optional questions need to look optional, and a submitted form should show an understandable result. We review a short brief before adding every possible sales qualification question.
03
Include the uncertain route
Prototype someone who cannot choose an option, does not have the requested document or returns after an interrupted form. Each situation needs a sensible next action. The design specification should say which input remains, which choice can change and how help is requested. These states belong to the experience, not a final decoration pass.
What you receive
A decision journey with a clear implementation handover.
Deliverables follow the reviewed scope and its acceptance responsibilities.
01
A task and information map
The map identifies the people involved, the questions they need answered and the context that must move between them. It separates evidence supplied by the business from assumptions to test. That gives reviewers a useful way to challenge the design before detailed screen work begins.
02
A reviewable interactive prototype
The prototype covers comparison, brief preparation, validation feedback and the chosen handover. It includes an uncertain visitor and a returning reviewer. We attach feedback to the task that produced it so the next iteration addresses a real misunderstanding rather than accumulating preferences without a decision.
03
Component and state specifications
The handover records typography, spacing, reusable components and their interaction states, along with the reviewed content. It explains responsive behaviour, field labels and keyboard expectations for implementation. A prototype and specification are design deliverables; production coding and verification are included only when explicitly scoped.
Project preparation
Test whether someone else can carry the decision forward.
Prepare these examples with the person who owns the working process.
Bring a real comparison question
Collect the questions prospects actually ask when choosing between services. Use approved factual answers and identify where the scopes are genuinely different. Remove unsupported superiority claims. The design can then make a relevant distinction visible without relying on an invented customer quote or a generic list of benefits.
Observe a first-time reviewer
Give a participant a realistic task and ask them to explain the option they would recommend and what remains uncertain. Record the explanation, not just whether they clicked the preferred button. A small review can reveal vocabulary and missing context; it should not be described as statistically proving a conversion increase.
Inspect labels and keyboard order
Walk through comparison controls and the brief using a keyboard, then check the field names and feedback with the implementation team. Keep visible meaning and programmatic labels aligned. A good-looking mockup alone cannot demonstrate accessible behaviour, so the acceptance plan names checks to repeat on the working interface.
Ask a second person to review only the agreed handover output. Can they understand the selected service, its assumptions and the next question without the first visitor explaining every screen? If the summary contains confidential information, decide how access and retention are handled before treating sharing as a simple convenience feature.
Review real service information and enquiry journeys.
KMS Consultancy's documented website turns a complex compliance service catalogue into clear pages and an enquiry journey. Kiran Traders presents B2B import-export services with a procurement enquiry route. These real website examples show information organisation that you can review. The multi-person comparison exercise is hypothetical; no usability study, Mumbai client location or conversion result is claimed for it.
Use these answers to make the next conversation specific.
Can we commission design before development?
Yes. The scope can end with a tested prototype, reviewed content and implementation specifications. We identify the engineering questions that need input during design and separate them from coding work. This lets your implementation team assess the handover without mistaking a clickable prototype for a finished production service.
Will a shorter enquiry form be enough?
That depends on the decision your team needs to make next. We keep questions that help assess suitability and remove questions that duplicate later conversations without a clear reason. Testing should include someone who lacks an optional answer, plus the staff member who receives the brief and needs to act on it.
How does Mumbai design review work remotely?
We agree the reviewer, meeting windows and written approval steps with your team. Recordings or annotated prototype feedback can support decisions between calls when appropriate. Softglimmer's studio is in Ranchi; this Mumbai guide describes remote service availability and makes no claim of a Mumbai office.
